Mosaic tiles have a history stemming back to the 3rd millennium BC. Mosaics have come a long way since the hand cut tesserae of olden times and thanks to high tech manufacturing and precision cutting, their applications are virtually endless.

Our mini cushion-mosaics are manufactured using dry pressed glazes and clays, and fired at extreme temperatures to ensure they are hard wearing and durable, especially for outdoors. 12x12mm or 24x24mm porcelain pieces are applied to 300x300mm mesh sheets for quick and convenient installation. Most colours also come in 50x100mm mini-subway tiles for a slightly larger and more pronounced look. We call them cushion mosaics because their edges and corners are gently rounded to look almost soft, and they feel wonderful under hand or foot.

Retail & Hospitality Applications:

The vibrant colour palette lends itself to retail environments and projects seeking strong visual impact. Immortalise your clients logo in an atrium for a commercial project or a bespoke stunning piece of mosaic wall art for a restaurant? An unforgettable bathroom in a hotel? Anything is possible. We have pre-designed mosaic patterns available to view or you can design your own using our EcoGeo bespoke porcelain service (minimum orders may apply for a bespoke project).

Wet areas:

We’ve made sure to bring you some high slip mosaics in R10 and R11 for installation in wet areas. Mosaics allow you to get creative with shape and form, clinging to curves and folds for artistic and experimental design. Their flexibility make them the ideal porcelain covering for curved spaces. Think columns, shower-rooms, curved walls, spa, swimming pool surrounds, swimming pool linings and wellness spaces.

Use mini-mosaics for residential kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools and outdoor areas – Their cushion shape make them the most satisfying tactile surface covering on the market. Mix and match colours, or create a chic space with one single colour on floor, wall and inbuilt furniture.

Make a feature of grout:

Increased grout lines with mosaic means you can make the grout a feature. Red grout with a white mosaic. Blue grout with a green mosaic. Black grout with a white mosaic.

We recommend ARDEX adhesives and grouts. See or look at their colour guide.
