Project: Pret A Manger Shoreditch High Street
Year: 2019
Client: Pret A Manger

Eco Friendly Tiles has worked with Pret A Manger on various cafes around the UK. Their most recent brief required something quite different from their regular requests. They were after two colours that could be laid in an interlocking style on the floor, and which had a higher sustainability rating.

Two colours were proposed to meet the brief, VT.307 and VT.230, both in their 60 x 60cm format. VT.307 is a light grey, weathered, concrete look tile from the Cascade range. This particular tile is available in four different size formats including a hexagon. This tile is made using 20% recycled content and contributes towards LEED. The lightly textured concrete look provides a versatile staple for many different designs. In the case of Pret A Manger, VT.307 was paired with the highly patterned terrazzo look VT.230. VT.307 offered a calmer, complementary alternative to the speckled terrazzo look.

VT.230 has a white base with black and grey speckles throughout. This particular tile was used on the wall and floor to create an unbroken flow down the left side of the cafe. Available in three different sizes, this terrazzo look can add some style and interest to any project!

Eco Friendly Tiles prides itself on meeting any specifications a client brief may have. We offer multiple styles, finishes and sizes, all carbon offset on delivery!
