Project: Coffee Shop, Royal Wharf
Year: 2017
Client: Global coffee company

Eco Friendly Tiles has worked with a coffee company on the build and refurbishment of multiple cafes and contemporary, modern stores around the UK and Europe. The brief received by Eco Friendly Tiles required large format tiles for use on the wall and behind the counter. A product that wouldn’t fade and would be easy to clean was essential due to the proximity of it to food and coffee and the potential for stains.

Shannon Cove VS.24 was selected for it’s multi-tonal brown and cream colourings, and it’s unique tessellated, oxidised look which gives this panel texture and movement. It was laid in its 1000 x 1000 mm format on the wall and behind the counter. VS.24 has an EPD certification and is able to contribute towards BREEAM, LEED and SKA. VS.24 is also made using up to 40% recycled content making it one of our most eco conscious tiles.

Eco Friendly Tiles carbon offsets door to door as well as providing our clients with eco-conscious tiles to fit their brief. From mosaic to large format, porcelain to real terrazzo, Eco Friendly Tiles has a vast selection that is perfect for use in a multitude of situations.
